Lisa Sherrill Richter devotes much of her practice to helping her clients find solutions to their family law problems, including divorce, post-divorce, adoption and juvenile matters. Ms. Richter has more than eleven years of experience handling a multitude of issues that arise in a divorce proceeding, including complicated marital property issues, business and asset valuation, custody and visitation issues, child support, spousal maintenance, domestic violence and orders for protection. When circumstances change after the divorce is final, she assists her clients with post-divorce issues such as contempt, modification of child support, visitation and custody.

In addition to handling divorces, Ms. Richter's family law practice extends to helping preserve the rights and welfare of juveniles who have encountered the legal system at an early age. Juveniles who are facing allegations of truancy, delinquency or criminal charges or are in need of protection need representation by an experienced lawyer. Her goal is to make sure their needs are met and their rights are protected.
