When necessary, in those situations involving domestic violence, we assist clients to obtain restraining orders. If our client has been accused of abuse, we defend against the imposition of restraining orders.
Alternative Dispute Resolution
In divorce and custody matters we encourage our clients to participate in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods whenever appropriate. Our experience has shown that clients who are able to work out mutual marital settlement agreements, especially involving children, have much less post-divorce conflict. In these cases the need for expensive enforcement and modification of existing divorce decrees is greatly decreased.
